The calculator
Put the offer's numbers in. It computes required turnover, turnover multiplied by the stated house edge, and bonus value minus that modelled loss. A maximum cashout is displayed separately: the calculator cannot calculate its effect on a distribution of possible outcomes.
Wagering requirement calculator
Works out required turnover and a simplified loss estimate at the RTP you enter.
It does not predict winnings, the chance of completing wagering or the effect of a cashout cap. Nothing is sent
anywhere — it runs in your browser.

Changing game weighting from 100% to 10% multiplies required play by ten when everything else is unchanged. A maximum cashout is a separate restriction. It does not change turnover, and clipping an average to that cap would not produce a valid expected payout.

“35×” is not a quantity. It is a multiplier with no stated subject, and the subject is in the terms.

Same advertised figure, double the work. The deposit-plus-bonus formulation is common and almost never appears on the banner. When comparing two offers, convert both to dollars of required turnover before comparing anything else — the ranking frequently inverts.
Variable two: game weighting
This is the one that decides most outcomes and the one most people never look up. Not every dollar wagered counts fully toward the requirement. The terms publish a table.

Read the stated consequences
These percentages illustrate arithmetic, not current casino policies. Read the actual weighting table and exclusion list together. A game that contributes nothing is not necessarily prohibited, but an explicit prohibition can carry additional consequences for the bonus balance.
Weighting tables live in the operator's bonus terms, not on the promotion page.
Weighting is a multiplier, not a discount. At 10% the requirement is ten times larger.
Variable three: the maximum cashout
A ceiling on what you may withdraw from the whole exercise, whatever you win. Frequently expressed as a multiple of the bonus — “10× bonus amount” — rather than as a dollar figure, which makes it read considerably larger than it is.
Convert a cap to dollars using the exact basis in the agreement. A 10× cap on a A$100 bonus is A$1,000 if the rule really means ten times that bonus. That tells you the ceiling, not how likely you are to reach it. Comparing a capped 400% offer with an uncapped 100% offer requires all terms and outcome probabilities; the headline alone cannot settle it.
Caps apply disproportionately to no-deposit and free-spin offers, where the operator is funding the whole thing. On a matched deposit bonus a cap is less common but far from rare, and when present it is the first number to find.
Variable four: expiry
The window in which the turnover must be completed. Thirty days on a moderate requirement is workable. Seven days on a large one is a requirement designed not to be met — and it converts a bonus into a reason to play faster and larger than you intended, which is the mechanism rather than a side effect.
Divide the required turnover by the days remaining to get the daily turnover the offer implicitly demands, then decide whether that is an evening you actually want. The calculator gives you the first number; the division is quick.

Separate from the four variables, and the one that costs people real money: maximum bet while bonus funds are active, commonly a few dollars per round.
Exceed it once and the operator may claim a right to remove the bonus and everything won from it. It is enforced automatically, it does not require intent, and three things breach it without the player noticing:
Autoplay left running at a stake set before the bonus was claimed.
A feature buy, which counts as a single bet at its full purchase price. A 100× buy at a A$1 stake is a A$100 bet against a A$5 cap.
A stake change after a win, where the interface remembers the larger amount.
Some operators disable the buy button entirely while wagering is outstanding, which is the honest implementation. Others leave it live and rely on the terms. Checking which takes thirty seconds and tells you something useful about how the operator thinks about its own rules.
Bonus abuse clauses, read properly
Every set of terms has a section on abuse and it is the least-read, most-consequential part of the agreement. The clauses are broadly similar across the offshore market and all of them are enforced.
Low-risk and equal-bet patterns — covering both sides of a roulette table, or any pattern generating turnover without meaningful risk — are near-universally prohibited and detected automatically. Duplicate accounts are defined broadly enough to catch innocent cases: one bonus per person, household, device, payment method and IP means two flatmates claiming the same public offer is a duplicate by most definitions in use. And nearly every document ends with a catch-all permitting the operator to void a bonus where it believes, in its sole discretion, that terms have been abused.
Without an Australian regulator to test “sole discretion” against a reasonableness standard, that clause is as broad as it reads. Escalation runs to the operator, then any independently verified regulator or dispute body with jurisdiction; independent legal advice may also be relevant.
Reading an offer in ninety seconds
You do not need the full document to decide whether an offer is worth starting. Four searches, in this order.
Search for “maximum”. Surfaces the cashout cap and usually the max bet rule in one pass. If the cap is unacceptable, stop — nothing later improves it.
Search for “wagering” or “turnover”. Note the multiple and, critically, the basis.
Search for “exclude”. Finds both the excluded games list and any excluded payment methods — several offers simply do not apply to certain deposit rails.
Search for “days” or “hours”. The expiry window.
Ninety seconds, four numbers, and the calculator above turns them into an answer.
Current terms are published by the operator and change without versioning. Read the live page.
The exercise that makes the point. Both look similar in a list; they are not close.

Offer A requires A$24,000 of turnover against A$5,000 for Offer B. At a fixed 96% RTP, the corresponding loss illustrations are A$960 and A$200. The zero in B's final row is an arithmetic equality, not proof of a break-even offer. Funds may run out before completion and actual returns vary.
The deposit-plus-bonus basis in A is A$600, three times its A$200 deposit. Its cashout cap can affect outcomes even though the displayed loss comparison is negative. Neither the cap's effect nor the chance of completing wagering is modelled here. Use this table to compare workload and restrictions, not to rank the offers by profitability.
When to decline an offer
A favourable-looking calculation does not make a bonus worth taking. Decline an offer if you cannot understand its rules or if completing it would change your planned spending or time limits.
A requirement beyond your limits. A smaller multiple still requires repeated bets and does not remove the risk of losing the deposit.
Unclear game eligibility. Do not assume a favourite slot contributes simply because it appears in the lobby.
An unclear maximum cashout. Ask which balances the cap covers and whether fees or withdrawal limits also apply.
An expiry you can actually meet without changing how you would have played anyway. If clearing it requires larger stakes or longer sessions than you intended, the offer has changed your behaviour, which is what it was designed to do.
A no-wagering offer removes one condition, not every condition. Check deposit eligibility, the permitted slots, spin expiry and the status of winnings. If spin winnings are credited to a bonus balance with its own wagering requirement, do not describe them as immediately withdrawable cash.
What this page could not verify
The calculator models the published terms and nothing else. It assumes you play a single game at the stated return and weighting, that the turnover is completed, and that variance does not end the attempt early — none of which holds in a real session. Treat the simplified loss comparison as a comparison tool between two offers rather than as a prediction of your result.
The tables are hypothetical examples, not a survey of operators. Save the applicable dated terms and confirmation messages before accepting a promotion. This can help establish what was offered; it does not guarantee a remedy if a dispute arises.
We have not tested individual operators' enforcement or measured complaint frequencies. Do not infer a payout guarantee, regulatory approval or verified account eligibility from the sponsored cards on this page.
The worked comparison uses representative figures to demonstrate the arithmetic, not real offers from named operators. Put your own numbers into the calculator — that is the version that applies to you.
And if the simplified loss comparison comes out negative, that is not a reason to look for a better game to clear it on. It is the offer telling you what it is.
Free-spin count is not the withdrawable amount
WinCrown's displayed 200-spin headline gives a count, not a spin stake, guaranteed prize or cash balance. Find the applicable slot list and value per spin in the actual conditions. If spins are released in batches, check the expiry for each batch and whether later batches require a separate qualifying event. This guide does not invent those missing details.
Winnings can have conditions separate from the spins themselves. Read whether they become unrestricted cash, a restricted bonus or another balance subject to wagering. A maximum cashout may apply to winnings from that promotion even when the spin count is fixed. Do not multiply the count by an assumed stake and describe the result as money you can withdraw.
For Safe Casino's +250% headline, check how the qualifying deposit and bonus cap interact. A percentage is a multiplier, while a cap limits the credit. The wagering basis may include the deposit as well as the bonus. Each rule should be recorded in its own field rather than collapsed into one headline score.
If a rule conflicts with the way you planned to play, the safe comparison result can be “decline.” Do not alter personal limits, use an excluded game or place a larger bet to finish faster. A completed requirement still does not guarantee that a particular withdrawal is lawful, eligible or free of additional checks.
Questions people actually ask
What does 35x wagering mean?
Multiply the amount specified in the terms by 35. On a A$100 bonus that is A$3,500. If the basis also includes a A$100 deposit, the requirement becomes A$7,000. The ratio depends on the deposit and bonus amounts; it is not always double.
How do I calculate the real turnover?
Multiply the basis by the multiple, then divide by the game weighting as a decimal. A A$100 bonus at 35x on bonus only is A$3,500 of pokies play at 100% weighting — but A$35,000 if you clear it on a game weighted at 10%. Weighting is the biggest multiplier in most terms.
What is game weighting?
The share of each wager credited toward the requirement. A$10 at 100% credits A$10; at 10% it credits A$1. Actual percentages and excluded games come from the specific promotion terms, not from a general category table.
What is a maximum cashout?
A contractual limit on the amount withdrawable from a promotion. Check which balance it covers, whether the deposit is included and whether it is stated in dollars or as a multiple. A cap restricts outcomes; it does not by itself prove that one offer is better than another.
Can I lose a bonus by betting too much per spin?
A maximum-bet breach may cause the operator to remove a bonus or associated winnings under its terms. Check autoplay, stake changes and feature-buy treatment before playing. The definition and remedy depend on the specific agreement.
Is a no-wagering bonus always better?
No. It removes a turnover condition but may retain a cashout cap, eligibility rules or expiry. Check whether spin winnings are cash or a bonus balance with its own conditions.
Does the calculator predict a profit?
No. It shows required turnover and a fixed-RTP loss comparison assuming all that turnover is completed. It does not model the chance of running out of funds, volatility, cashout-cap effects or a real session outcome.
